My Super Readers! They read their hearts out. Even while being annoyed by their siblings, they pressed on and got it done.
We started our summer reading challenge only a couple of months ago and these kids have been reading their noses off! The deal was for every 3 books they’d get a toy. Well they read way more than that and they finally cashed in. Words can’t express how proud I am. Incentives can be a double edged sword and this time it paid off. They actually enjoyed their reading. They were into the stories and were genuinely excited about each new book we got. Check out the video of our celebration which included a trip to the store for their rewards, a bubble-filled outing with ducks and milkshakes!
