Efficient printers are important; especially for us homeschooling moms. So which one is the best? When I started my search for printers, I just wanted a simple answer and I’m pretty sure you do too. So here it is:The HP ENVY 4520 Series. Why do I think it’s the best? Because it does everything I need it to do and the cost was reasonable. It is an inkjet which has a more matte (or flat) finish to the prints. I don’t need high quality prints because I’m mostly printing worksheets and things like that. It has a scan/copy function that I can use without accessing my desktop or sitting at the computer. It is a wireless printer! Ahhh yes!! By wireless I mean you can print from your mobile devices. This is the best feature and the one I use the most. I can print from bed or the kitchen or…you get it. Sometime when I’m working with one of my children, I ‘ll need to print a sheet for them real quick and I can do it without leaving their side. It’s a beautiful thing. Also a very useful feature is that you can sign up for HP’s Instant Ink program. There is a monthly fee but it is sooo worth it. I pay approximately $10 a month, but this program ensures that I never run out of ink. You get a certain amount of pages to print per month. If you go over, they charge you a nominal fee for extra pages (like $1.99 for 100 more pages-something like that). If you don’t go over, the pages you didn’t use roll over!! Say Whaaa?! Yup. The only con for me is it’s pretty slow when printing photos. It takes forever and three days. But since printing worksheets are it’s main function here, I’m god with that.
